Read the following article. What is the Supreme Court deciding? What is a swing vote? Who is the article focused on and why? What is the author assuming about the other justices? How do you think the court should decide? Why?

The Supreme Court wants everybody to buy health insurance by 2014 or pay a tax penalty, Justice Anthony Kennedy can be the one to decide that...if the Supreme Court breaks down the usual. The swing vote is knowing who the other 8 justices are. The article is mainly focused on Kennedy because he'd be the man to go to in this law; he will make the final decision so he gets to say what he thinks about the other eight justices. The author approves the other justices along with Kennedy, and its looking like the law has a good chance of passing. I think the court should decide by the citizens votes, but making sure that they all realize what the positive outcome will be if it passes...not just the fact that we'll be spending/wasting money on a law that some people may not want.

The supreme Court wants everyone to either buy health insurance or pay a fine. Justice Anthony Kennedy could be the one to decide by 2014. The swing vote is knowing who the justices are. Its about Kennedy because hes the one that has most of the power to say, in this article. The author likes Kennedy and the other justices and i think it will pass. It should if its making it better for everyone else not just another thing for people to pay for.

The Supreme court is debating weather there should be a law requiring people to have health care. If law passes there will be a tax fine for all those who do not get health care by 2014. A swing vote is when a majority of the voters are influenced by the vote of sombody or a party. The author focuses on Anthony Kennedy because he has a big influence over the other Justice's. However the author is assuming all of the other Justice's are going to vote the same as Kennedy. I think the court should decide no to the law because of all the poor families; however most people that do not have medicare dont pay their taxes either.

Over the past few months, and argueably years, of Barak Obama's presidency, the United States has faced many problems regarding national health care coverage. Recently, the Supreme Court has been in debate over whether or not health care should be a requirment for all American citizens, or else a fine will be enforced. This particular article focuses on Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, who was originally appointed to the Supreme Court in the late 1980's by President Ronald Reagan. Kennedy is well known for presiding over 'swing-vote' cases, in which the outcome of a vote determines the course of a specific election. In this case, the decisions of Justice Kennedy could either make or break the Obama administration's steadfast goals for health care to all citizens. I support the idea that American Citizens should have the right to choose whether or not to have health care. Yes, health care is a positive thing and could help many American's, but it is unfair to those who can not afford such things, and can not afford to be taxed for lack of participation either.

Currently the Supreme Court is in a pickle over the problems of national health coverage. They have yet to decide because of one swing vote, but they are debating whether or not all Americans should be mandated to purchase health care or pay a fine. A “swing vote”, in this case is, is the vote of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. His one vote could be the deciding vote on Obama’s mandate of health care. The author focuses on the importance of Anthony Kennedy’s vote and assumes that the other justices will vote the same. I feel the court should decide that health care should be an option to Americans and not mandatory. Some citizens can’t afford health care for their families, let alone themselves. Forcing Americans to pay for something that has been a option to us since day one could possibly be seen as the government infringing on our rights to make our own decisions based on our lives. I don’t feel it is right to mandate health care or make Americans pay a fine if they cant obtain it by 2014.

The Supreme Court is facing a big problem right now with the national health care covrage. They are planning to pass a law that will require everyone to have health care by 2014 or have to pay a tax fine. The Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy is being considered as the 'swing vote' his vote will have a big impact on whether this bill will pass or not. This law seem to some what harsh because what will happen to all the families that can't afford health care how are they support to pay? I feel as though the government should have to force citizens buy health care if they don't want to.

The Supreme Court is debating whether or not they should pass a law requiring everybody to have health care by 2014 or face a fine. A swing vote is the vote most influential to the outcome. The article is focused on Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, who carries the swing vote. The author assumes that the other justices will vote based on Kennedy's vote. I think the court should decide against forcing health care, because it's just another bill for everybody to pay, and it might make things harder for a lot of people. Besides, Canada has free health care.

The Supreme Court will soon be forced to make a decision regarding the Affordable Care Act and if it is unconstitutional. The government wants to require that by 2014 citizens will either be forced to buy health insurance or pay a fine. The swing vote is Justice Anthony Kennedy, who was first appointed to the court by Ronald Reagan in 1988. Kennedy has often been the deciding vote in large cases. The article is mainly focused on Kennedy because his vote will probably be the most important one in the court ruling. The article talks of his past voting history saying he has been both conservative and liberal. The author assumes that the other Justices will vote the same. I think that the Supreme Court will not pass the law because it is not affordable to every citizen in the United States. The law will only become a burden to struggling people who cannot afford the health care or the fine.

The supreme court in concerned on what to do with health care. They have yet to decide what way to turn because of one simple vote. The one vote is Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is not a stranger to the aspect of himself being the final vote. Since he has been in the supreme court, starting in 1988, Kennedy has much been the factor to deciding bills. A swing vote is a term used to describe a vote that might go in any certain way. The article is focused on Justice Anthony Kennedy for he is the deciding vote in this case concerning a health care bill. I think that the court's should be decided the way they are going currently because their doesnt seem to be any certain problem in what congress is doing right at this moment.

The Supreme Court is making a decision whether to have people pay for health care, or too face a fine. This article is focusing on a character called Justice Anthony Kennedy, who seems to be the deciding factor in making the final decision. His vote will be considered the swing vote, it can make either side win, depending what Kennedy wants to do. This health care bill rest on Kennedy's swing vote. The court should not abide on a single soul to determine the countries future, if they would have to rely on only one individual, it should be the president.
