I think that although there have been a few problems in his presidency that Obama has the best chance of winning. The reason i think this is because the Republicans are very hesitant and don't stand out as much. They are still shaky on candidates and need to have a firmer decision on if they will run or not. As well as being hesitant, the Republicans have a lot of past problems that many voters are discouraged by. The advice i would give to the Republicans is to step up and not be such scaredy cats about running against Obama. I think they are afraid because of Obama's reputation and they don't want to waste their money one a useless campaign and they shouldn't be because if you have a good campaign and no bad history then you will have a good chance against him and it will be worth the money.

Right now no one really has the best chance of winning because no one is really well known besides Sarah Palin who ran as vice president to John McCain, and Mitt Romney who ran for president but lost to McCain. People really seem to have a problem with Palin because people didn't think she has the "background to do the job", so she is probably already out of the question. Mitt Romney was also a candidate last time, but he was critisized for being Mormon. He did have a very good business view, because he did save the Olympics held in Salt Lake by getting businesses to help finance the games instead of declaring bankrupacy. People cant seem to look past the background and beliefs of the candidates, and see what they have to offer the country. Many people seem to be upset with Obama because of his health care plans, and the fact that he was supposed to save our nation, but instead is spending more money. The only advice I would like to give is to either side is to see what the people need, not think of what the people want. The Republicans shouldn't make any more tax cuts, but to tax people based on income, and the Democrats shouldn't make plans without consulting people about it. I think that some of the people are hesitant to announce that they are running because it is really expensive to run, and it is far away so no one really officially knows what they are going to do.

So far, I do not think that any party has a chance of winning. Obama said he was going to bring our troups back, fix the economy, and give everyone health care. First, Obama has done nothing but send more troups to Iraq. Also, the economy is not getting much better because people are still starving and trying to make it by. Lastly, I do not think it is possible for everyone to have free health care. How is it going to be paid for? Plus doctors and medical staff will probably have their wages cut. If Obama doesn't figure out how to fix his mistakes, then he has somewhat of a chance to win. The Republicans need to have a strong candidate that knows what they want to do, what they want to fix, and how they are going to fix it and get it passed. The republican party also needs to make up their minds on some topics because that could either make or break them. I think that some candidates are hesitant to announce because they all fear loosing. People need to look at what the candidates have to offer, not their religon or beliefs.

I think that Obama has the best chances of winning the upcoming elections. Even though he has sent more troops to Iraq, when he said that he was going to remove them he still has the 48 Percent approval rating. The economy obviously isn't at it's best right now, but its clearly recovering with Obama. I think the Republicans are trying to decide who the right person would go against Obama, because they want to ensure a strong election, and they don't want to waste all the money with any other candidate.

I believe Obama will win the next election because despite the fact that some of Obama's plans have not quite worked, it takes some time for a new president to get on board. Obama is finally getting on board, as he continues to win over the hearts of many Americans. Another reason is that today's generation seems to be more liberal than the past generations. Today's "people" have a different point of view on the world and what's right and wrong. Also, the republicans are undicided of who will represent them, which shows they're aren't ready to win. I bielieve they are still hesitant because after losing against the Democrats they need a "new" plan that will be "better" than the Democrats.

I think that trying to guess who will win right now is a little challenging. We don't exactly know what will happen until we get to voitng time. However, I think that the article has a point in saying that a different style of presidency, compared to obamas policies, might be attractive to the voter. Because things are up in the air, so to speak, with the candidates and the election, it wouldnt be wise to drop out of the candidacy just yet, because you never know what will happen.

I think that Obama has made a good start, and although I believe he will be elected in the net eletion, I don't think he has been forced to make monumental decisions. He is helping the economy as it says in the article, however he has not been forced to make decisions such as President Bush had to make in his terms as president. He has not been attacked by a foreign enemy and blindsided. He has however helped with the current problems at hand. However, there is no garuntee that the future will have no major events that will force him to make extremely controversial decisions which will inevitably make him either gain and/or lose supporters which could cause him to become less popular among the American people. Not as so say he will not make the best decision but Americans don't look for the best overall usually, we look for the best choice for us individually or decisions that have immediate positive effects

I feel that Obama has a fairly good chance at winning the election next year. His has not done anything that had great impact on the country so our government has been stable and the people of American tend to like stability. If I were to give advise to the Republican Party I would say find a somewhat liberal candidate. The population of people voting for republicans is going down and they must find a new group of people to vote for them. By picking a liberal republican they will be able to get the votes of people you are not entirely democrats and not entirely republicans.

Although Obama's been through some rough patches in his presidency, I honestly feel that he has the best chance of winning. When the economy is down and the citizens see that it is slowly improving, they know that something is at least being done right. And because the economy is improving little by little, Obama will have many supporters on his side. Republicans are becoming too hesitant and it shows that they are undecisive. This doesn't appeal very well to the public because the economy is already in a sticky situation, therefore why would they want an undecisive and hesitant candidate running for presidency? It brings upon alot of questions on how things may be run (if elected) once in office. Citizens are looking for stability, and Obama is proving more and more that he can provide this. I advise to any candidate that if they wish to run, to make a decision already and go for it. Go hard or go home, there's no holding back, because like I said, in a shaky economy such as the United States' at this point in time, the people simply want wants best and whats most stable. If any of the candidates are at this point in time hesitant, it may be largely due to the fact that Obama can be a very intimidating person to run against. He is after all the nations first black president, making history. And due to the positive way things are headed in with the economy slowly getting better, there's a big chance many people will be voting for him again.

I believe that at this point in the presidential campaigning, Obama has a good chance of being elected again. Although Obama hasn't accomplished many of the things he had promised during his campaign, he hasn't had a negative effect on the government, he has kept it stable and has slightly improved the economic situation. Also, people will be hesitant to vote a new person into office if they are not very well known or informed about them. If the Republican's continue to hesitate and not put themselves out their and campaign then the chances of them winning are slim. Americans are likely to keep Obama as president because so far he has had a good term, by keeping him in office it will give him more time to accomplish the goals he had for America during his campaign.

I believe that President Obama is making the economy system much better than it was before when Bush was the president. President Obama's ideas are bright and if the voters are wise Obama might just attract all their attention and they will vote for him once more. Another reason why I think Obama will win the popularity of many americans is because the Republicans dont even have a candidate to represent them. But this election is going to be all over because there is different candidates.

President Obama won over a large part of the country two years ago with his campaign. I have yet to see a campaign as extensive as his so far, especially from a republican. Obama's campaign was effective, which is why I believe he will be re-elected. Althought President Obama has not yet brought all the "change" he promised to America, I think most people remain hopeful. On the other hand there is a group of people who are re-thinking their political affiliations because of this and are becoming more conservative. I would recommend appealing to this group of people for any prospective republican candidate. I would also urge then tk begin their campaign soon, although I understand that they might be worried about criticism and exploitation so early on.

OBAMA! I think that Obama has the best chances of winning the upcoming elections because he kept to his promises and that is something to consider. His approval rating is fairly better than Bush was so thats a good start. He has helped stop the economy from losing alot of money. The republicans have not yet gotten a strong enough candidate that can represent them. What Obama has that the Republicans don't is the "younger" vote. Change is an aspect of life. Out with the old, in with the new. This crucial time in American history is for Obama and Democrats until the Republicans revitilize themselves and become the superior power for awhile. Better enjoy the ride now...

i feel that obama will be realected for the next presedency because he has slowly been improving the economy and therefore he will rise to the top and beat whoever is running against him. Yet there is lots to be done we have to clean our mess up and sadly obama ran for president at a very difficult time not just for him but for anyone that ran for president.
